Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 18, 2026·Last Updated: May 18, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of JobNab's websites, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"), provided by JobNab ("JobNab," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your data and is part of these Terms.

1. The Service

JobNab monitors company career pages on your behalf and alerts you when new job postings match the positions, keywords, and locations you've configured. We use automated scraping and AI-based matching to surface relevant openings. You can also connect JobNab to compatible AI assistants (such as Claude) to manage your account from those tools.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We'll try to give reasonable notice of material changes that affect how you use the Service.

2. Eligibility and Your Account

Age

You must be at least 16 years old to use JobNab. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

Account information

You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up and to keep it current. You are responsible for everything that happens on your account.

Account security

JobNab uses passwordless sign-in via a six-digit code sent to your email. Anyone with access to your inbox can sign in as you. Keep your email account secure (strong password, two-factor authentication) and sign out of shared devices. Notify us promptly at hello@jobnab.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

Plans

JobNab offers paid subscription plans (currently Basic, Pro, and Max). Each plan has its own monthly price, scraping cadence, and limits on the number of trackers, positions, blacklist words, and preferred locations you can configure. We may change plan features, limits, or pricing for new subscribers; existing subscribers will get reasonable advance notice of any pricing change that affects them.

Auto-renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan, unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize us (and our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your payment method for each renewal.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access to your paid features until then, and we won't charge you again.

Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods after cancellation, except where refund is required by law or we explicitly offer one in writing. If you believe you've been charged in error, contact us at hello@jobnab.ai and we'll review your case.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge and we may suspend or downgrade your account until payment succeeds.

4. Acceptable Use

When you use the Service, you agree not to:

  • Use JobNab to violate any law, regulation, or third party's rights — including the terms of service of the websites you ask us to track.
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit job alerts generated by JobNab, or build a competing product from JobNab data.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the Service itself, except through interfaces we publish for that purpose (such as our Model Context Protocol connector).
  • Probe, scan, or test the security of the Service, or attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or plan limits.
  • Use automated tools or scripts to access the Service in ways that interfere with normal operation or place undue load on our systems.
  • Submit content or career-page URLs that are illegal, defamatory, or that you do not have the right to track.
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

5. Your Content and Data

You own the data you provide to JobNab — your resume, your tracker URLs, your preferences, and the alerts derived from them. You grant us a limited license to use that data only as necessary to operate the Service for you (for example, to scrape the pages you've added, to score postings against your preferences, and to send you alerts).

We don't claim ownership of your content, we don't sell it, and we don't use it to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

6. AI-Generated Content and Job Matching

JobNab uses AI models (provided by third parties such as OpenAI and Anthropic) to extract information from job postings and to score relevance against your preferences. AI outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading.

JobNab's relevance scores, summaries, and recommendations are informational only — they are not career advice, legal advice, or a guarantee that a posting is a good fit, that the posting is current, or that the employer is hiring. Always verify postings against the employer's official source before applying or making any career decision based on a JobNab alert.

7. Third-Party Services and External Content

The Service relies on, links to, or processes content from third parties — payment processors, AI providers, the career pages we scrape on your behalf, and AI assistants you connect via our Model Context Protocol integration. We don't control those third parties and aren't responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that service's own terms.

When we scrape a career page on your behalf, you represent that you have the right to access that page under its applicable terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The JobNab name, logo, software, design, and all related materials are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal job search, subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

If you send us feedback or suggestions about the Service, we may use them without obligation to you.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or secure; that defects will be corrected; that any particular job alert will be received in time, will be accurate, or will result in any outcome; or that the Service or its servers are free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobNab and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

In any event, our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the liability, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JobNab and its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any third party's rights (including the terms of any website you ask us to track), or (d) your content.

12. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you've violated these Terms, if we're required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the Service.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 5 (Your Content and Data), 8 (Intellectual Property), 9 (Disclaimer of Warranties), 10 (Limitation of Liability), 11 (Indemnification), and 13 (Governing Law) — will survive.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The federal and state courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that isn't subject to arbitration, and you and JobNab consent to that jurisdiction and venue.

Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at hello@jobnab.ai and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify you by email and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If you continue to use the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, cancel your subscription and stop using the Service.

15. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and JobNab regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of our assets.
